System Requirements

• An Eclipse installation, based on Eclipse Oxygen or newer.. Download Eclipse.
• IAR Embedded Workbench (the IAR Eclipse plugins do not include the compiler or debugger itself).
• Java Runtime Environment, version 8 or later. A choice of open source implementations of JDK which are compatible with Eclipse can be found at https://www.eclipse.org/openj9/

CDT in Eclipse 2020-06 currently has an issue running against Java 8. The workaround is to disable "Verify provisioning operation is compatible with currently running JRE" in Windows -> Preferences -> Install/Update.
